Addressed to "Dearest Ones" while Elkinton was in France as a relief worker. Back in Sermaize, Elkinton mentions a new position she has accepted teaching a class of small boys. Describes the recent crowding of relief workers at the equipe and the visitors they have had, including a bishop from Detroit and a famous tuberculosis doctor. Has been in closer quarters with her English colleagues, and says that "I am rapidly losing my prejudice toward the Islanders as I come to know these representatives better." Discusses plans to go to Paris with her husband Howard.
