Happy that Gibbons and possibly her daughter Lucy are coming to the hospital in Beverly, New Jersey, and is making arrangements for their arrival. Insists that they live with him to keep him company. Has been working hard to establish the hospital. Says the work will help take her mind off of the recent death of her brother John Hopper. Has received over one hundred nurse applications and will discuss the matter with Gibbons when she arrives. Says he has been "at war with the ladies" in the hospital area who want to visit the ward "at all hours" and feed the patients.
