Notes on violence against Richard Brown

Possibly written by Martha Schofield. Pages may be out of order. First page is a note about the contents addressed to "Kay," probably biographer Katherine Smedley. The rest is an account of racial violence against an African American man named Richard Brown [sp] (born ca. 1874), whom Martha Schofield sheltered and protected from white aggressors.
