Columbia [South Carolina] March 21st,

Miss [Martha] Schofield, Teacher,
Aiken [South Carolina]
Let the teachers of your School
who expect and desire to receive pay from
the Public Fund, present or forward
their vouchers or pay certificates to the
County Treasurers of Barnwell County, [South Carolina],
without delay as I have just turned over
to said Officer the unexpended Balance
of the "Free School Fund" of Barnwell
County for the Fiscal Year ending
October 31st 1870_ some $6000.00. The
County Treasurer of Barnwell County is
J N Teague, [Esquire], Blackville, [South Carolina]
"Verbum Sat Sapienti".
