Lucretia Mott letter
Fragment. Likely written to Martha Coffin Wright and written from Roadside. She discusses a party, which is likely the wedding of her granddaughter Fanny Cavender to Thomas Parrish. Says she agrees "with brother Garrison's criticism entirely relative to the length of the memorial and the bad taste of censuring Sumner then" in reference to a speech made by an unnamed female speaker.
