Fragment; likely a continuation of Lucretia Mott to Martha Coffin Wright, 1861-08-18 (A00181988). Mott gives her sister news of friends and family, especially her grandchildren, and recommend the works of Herbert Spencer on education. She also discusses the war, her travel plans for the year, her relatives' handwriting and names, and (briefly) a visit from Joseph Dugdale and Sarah Dugdale.
