Possibly a fragment; recipient inferred. Written from the house of Benjamin Yarnall (Lucretia Mott's brother-in-law). Lucretia Mott discusses recent funerals, her husband James Mott's recent trip to New York, and a visit from her daughter Martha "Pattie" Lord. The paper also bears a letter to Lucretia Mott from her cousin Caroline Chase Stratton (dated December 18, 1863) about plans for the marriage of Stratton's daughter Laura to Fitzhugh Birney.
