Belva Lockwood biographical notes
Lockwood's handwritten notes for her biography. She recounts an incident in the case involving the Estate of General John Sevier; Emmetta Humphreys, administrator to the estate, attempted to have Lockwood dismissed from the case, but the Chief Justice of the Court of Claims dismissed Humphreys' Motion and praised Lockwood extensively.
