Julia Wilbur "Excelsior" diary, 1889
Wilbur wrote daily page-length entries describing events in detail, including her trips to Providence, New York, and Philadelphia. The memoranda at the end include a summary of the state of her health and her family, her finances for the year, and various facts, sayings, and literary extracts, including an abolitionist poem by James Russell Lowell and a quotation from Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
