Description

Copy of a letter from Anthony Benezet to Moses Brown. Discussing Eastern States' petitions and bills to the King and Parliament in opposition to slavery and the slave trade. Benezet discusses his friend Samuel Nottingham and his wife's slaves. Also includes an account of a letter concerning the lives and future of slaves from Nathanial Gilbert of Antigua.
