Legal document confirming that Guillaume Le Mire is in possession of goods of Pierre Le Mire, deceased, against claims of Jehanne La Thienie (defendant). High Gothic hand. Brown ink. Document begins with a 5-line decorative capital "I" in dark brown ink. The initial paragraph explains the legal dispute, and subsequent paragraphs list the items of property in question. Each paragraph is separated by 3 blank lines. Parchment roll consists of 4 individual pieces of parchment attached by tan string. The verso contains writing: "Philips MS 32225" and a summary of the document in brown ink in Gothic hand. Top of document is damaged. Some sheets of parchment are barely attached to one another. Blind ruling.
