Tax roll

Description

Financial document. Tax roll from Fontenay. Gothic bastard hand. Brown ink. The roll consists of 2 different pieces of parchment which are sewn together with blue thread. Document contains a descriptive paragraph with multiple paragraph headings and paragraphs below them. Crosses with notations and the letter "p" occur to the left of each paragraph. Numbers in the right margin. The verso contains some writing: "Philips 32167," a rather modern summary of the document in brown ink, "8? Liasse/ 4? Dossier," and a line of writing in Gothic bastard hand at the top.
