A Vandamm Studio proof for an oblique shot of the set of the Lord home as it appeared in the 1939-1940 Theatre Guild production of Philip Barry's The Philadelphia Story, staged on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre. Among the seven featured cast members, Katharine Hepburn stands at left. Hepburn took the starring role of Tracy Lord, which Barry created specifically for her.
