Letter from Marie Litzinger to her parents, October 13, 1918
Marie expresses delight in receiving lots of letters from her family. It appears that she is recovering from the flu. Since Dr. Scott, the math professor, was sick too, there is nothing to make up, so Marie's tone is very relaxed and light-hearted.
