List of what we wish please: Bronze in Italian Department. St. John and Christ child about $20 to $25. You saw it. It measures about 1 foot square and I think I was $20. It is very flat relief and is unknown to me. They have it set in plush and also in two small separate panels and of course we wish it together and minus plus. Chairs in Italian Dept. (Here Kitty Meo has fallen from the edge of my waste paper basket into the papers). Chair $8.25 or 8.50 with long tail of labels of people that have bought a [repition?]. It has place for upholstered seat and carved bag and legs. Also somewhere in Ital. furniture. Oft on a raised platform there is a chair like this without back or arms like an antique chair with lion heads at the 4 ends covered with yellow plush with yellow cords costing 20 or 30 dollars [a rough sketch is in the letter]. If you think this would look well in my study by the lounge by the window. I cannot tell. Also I want the Japanese red lacquer chair you bought one of $35. All these things ought to be send C.O.D. as it does not seem to me safe to pay. The Chinese nest of tables I bought from the pigtailed Chinese and paid $5 has never come to hand. Please look after it. Also MamieGs $5 orange vase which Mamie and I bought from the largest place in the Italian [illegible] next to Cantagalli and paid for and which was promised at once has never come. Now the Spanish plaques: We want three of the Rosy-urgell ware. 1st: the 2 peacocks tails toward each other and faces out; 3 a king gothic and 4 an angel which matches kind. These with duty seemed to be about $17 a piece. Then also 2 cheap dragon or twisted horse plates in angles of wall 5 francs a piece. The Spanish [Co-----] lives in a little house against the wall and speaks French. Then at Cantagalli the horn and one of the vases Mrs. Green bought - the one with meeting of Rachel and Jacob from RaphaceGs loggia. 2 women on one side standing up very straight the other one of the pair we would not have on any acct. All these Mamie will buy from me if things go wrong except the Japanese chair which I shall hope to sell to you for your gallery. One half she buys - in any case and one of the plaques she will give Mrs. Gwinn. Then somewhere I think near Lockwood de Forest or in Turkey there are lots of unlaid tables presided over by a beguiling woman and there are lots of tiny tiny tables = $3 each. I wish one and intend to put on it your Gallant glass. The exact descriptions I will send you if I can find them tomorrow.
