Mrs. Eugenie Miskolczy Meller, joint-leader with Mrs. Irma de Szirmai and Melaine Vambery of Feministak Egyesuelete of Hungary. Arrested three times by the Gestapo, tortured and finally gassed at Auschwitz. Decorated posthumously by the Hungarian Government for her leadership in the pacifist resistance and for services in the democratization of Hungary.
