Mary Garrett writes to M. Carey Thomas, advising her to leave Naples, as it would not be good for her or Mamie's health to stay there. She writes of her own health, and of the treatments she is receiving. She writes briefly of wanting to do more for women's suffrage, stating that she is bored with the women who identify with the movement. She includes newsclippings of various articles about women's suffrage.
