Writes on behalf of a Mrs. Hibbard, who is looking for employment, and recommends her for a posting at the Home (later called the Isaac T. Hopper Home), a shelter for women ex-convicts. As a member of the Committee to appeal to public charities, she suggests that the women of the Home make things for the Metropolitan Fair in order to aid the Sanitary Commission. Hopes that Gibbons will come visit.
