Description
Horace Neide was the Freedmen's Bureau's superintendent of education for South Carolina. Schofield's letter asks Neide whether the Bureau will pay for them to rent their current school building for another year. Mentions what to do with school property over the summer. Mentions that many tourists in Aiken have visited the school. Neide's reply says he has asked the Commission and will let Schofield know as soon as they answer.
