Lydia Schofield was Martha Schofield's sister. She discusses religion at length and transcribes a lengthy quote from Theodore Parker. She describes Henry Ash's and her own recent dental work done by Isaiah Price, the brother of their uncle, Paxson Price. She was glad that Schofield went to the ball.
