Diary of Eliza Schofield, sister of Martha Schofield (a Quaker teacher who devoted her life to providing education for African Americans and founded the Schofield Normal and Industrial School in Aiken, South Carolina). Text is faded, damaged, and illegible in multiple places. Pages 66-73 were written back-to-front; the book may have been bound at a later date. Content is primarily copied quotes and literature extracts about love, but Eliza Schofield also recorded personal events. Discusses multiple individuals, including her sister Martha Schofield, Robert Purvis, Samuel Aaron, and Susan B. Anthony; mentions Martha and their mother attending a women's rights convention and Susan B. Anthony speaking on women's rights.
