Susan B. Anthony letter to Mariana Wright Chapman
Susan B. Anthony was an American social reformer and women's rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. Written on National American Woman Suffrage Association stationery. Hopes Mrs. Catt will be at the State Convention in Brooklyn and is disappointed that Catt was not invited to speak. Rev. Anna Shaw will speak in Dr. Gregg's Church on the 12th. Anthony hopes that Chapman will send notes to liberal ministers so that they might tell their audiences about the program.
