Lady Katharine Amberley was a British suffragist and an early advocate of birth control in the United Kingdom. She has just received Mrs. Mott's letter from her sister, Lady Rosalind Howard, Countess of Carlisle, and regrets that she is not in London to see Hallowell. She asks Hallowell to keep her apprised of her plans and to let her know if she can "be of any use" to her.
