Written from Roadside. Appears to be a contemporary copy. Lucretia Mott writes that, like Love, she too is grieving because she too has just lost a daughter (Anna Mott Hopper died on August 3, 1874). She mentions Love's "precious mother" and "dear, aged, kind father."
