Lucretia Mott letter to Martha Coffin Wright, Martha Mott Lord, and Anna Coffin Temple Brown
Description
Partially from Roadside and partially written from the home of her son-in-law Edward Hopper. In addition to passing along various news of friends and family, Lucretia Mott briefly discusses what she has read recently, a trip to speak at Camp William Penn (a Union Army training camp for African-American soldiers), proposed treatments for various relatives' health issues, aid for and public opinion about African-American freedmen, and her views on war. She also briefly comments on equality within marriage and makes a brief mention of Anna E. Dickinson.
