Written on "Belva A. Lockwood, LL. D. Attorney and Solicitor" stationery. Lella Crum Gardner (1873-1956) was the wife of Belva Lockwood's nephew Frank Gardner. Sends her a photograph of a painting (possibly the portrait of her that was recently unveiled and placed in the "National Museum"). Discusses the copyrighting and printing of Gardner's biography about her and her upcoming journey to Europe as an ambassador for the Woman's Republic. Invites Lella and Frank Gardner to a dinner before the trip, where there will be a speech by Mrs. Elinor [sp] Brown and farewell letter from Alfred H. Love.
