Katharine Wistar Elkinton letter fragment to her family
Description
Fragment. Addressed to "Dear Ones" while she was in France as a relief worker. Discusses her leisure activities with Howard after arriving in Sermaize, including visiting a village that has been totally destroyed, and attending the first mass held since the church was repaired. Mentions that she has not been to a Meeting since leaving Paris, saying that "our few hours together are to precious to be spent in such a silence."
