Letter from Mary Elizabeth Garrett to M. Carey Thomas, April 10, 1892

Mary Garrett apologizes for not writing sooner, explaining that it was due to a friend, Miss Valloy's, illness. She expresses great concern for Valloy, and writes of caring for her. She then informs Thomas of the things she has been able to see and do in Rome. She then tells Thomas that the receipts that she thinks are missing for school expenditures are at her house at 101 W. Monument St. She also writes of the troubles she has had with finding a new secretary.
