Suffrage bill
(a) Vice President Thomas B. Marshall signing the suffrage resolution which had just passed the Senate, by a 56 to 25 vote. At his right stands Maud Wood Park. At his left Helen Gardener. As this bill had passed the House it now goes to the States, June 5th 1919. (b) Speaker Gillette signing the Suffrage Amendment, June 4th 1919, with gold pen, "the Victory Pen," now in Smithsonian.
