Legal document concerning heirs, lands, and buildings. Gothic bastard hand. Brown ink. Recto: The main text, about 132 lines long, begins with an initial "I" that is thick for 4 lines and trails thinly down the left margin for 8 more lines. Hash marks decorate the initial. The spacing of the document is quite wide at the top, but it gradually diminishes toward the end of the document. Below the main text is a space, followed by 7 lines of writing. To the left of this paragraph is a penwork notarial seal that resembles a compass. Below this is another space, followed by a paragraph of 6 lines that begins with a 6-line initial "P." Below this is another space and a paragraph of 4 lines. To the left of this paragraph is a penned notarial seal identical to the one above. Verso of this document has writing in multiple hands from different time periods in black and brown ink . Included in this writing is "Jayme Gargallo...de Canarie, the date 15 Mayo 1425" and Anthony de Molinos." Two pieces of parchment have been sewn together to form one page. This seam is horizontal. A tear on the bottom right side of the page has been stitched together. [Proper names included in the document: Jacobi Gargallo...de Caranie and (perhaps) Anthony de Molinos (?).]

Book of Hours Laudate Dominum (or Cantate Domino). Gothic textura quadrata. Black ink. Sentences begin on the left side and have a 1.5-line long capital colored with gold leaf, surrounded by blue and/or white ink and gold leaf. These capitals are filled in with a combination of white and blue ink or white ink and gold leaf. The blank space, created by lines ending before the right margin, are filled with decorative bars, colored by blue and white ink and gold leaf. The text, centered on the page, is surrounded on the top, left, and right sides by a decorative outline in blue and white ink and gold leaf. Exterior of the outline is filled with vines (in black ink) and leaves (in gold leaf). The vine decoration enters the gap at the bottom of the outline and reaches up to the final line of the text. Text is wrapped without hyphenation. Blind ruling.

Missal with Acts 9:17ff. Gothic hand. Black ink. A simple 6-line decorative line appears in the left margin on the recto and verso. A 2-line initial "H" begins a paragraph on the recto. Some writing occurs in red ink: "In purificatione" is in red ink near the capital "H" on the recto, and four other words including "Pauli" appear in red ink on the verso. Brown ink ruling.

Timothy Renner (1976): Document (Contract?). I cent. A.D. 5.5 x 16 cm. At bottom, date which says (Etous kb Farmouthi a) as part of subscription. Verso also has writing (probably a documentary text).

Land grant (or will?) from Petronilla, daughter(?) of Richard le Bonde to Robert Leget. Gothic hand. Brown ink. Metal point ruling. The bottom is folded up, and pendent strands of parchment remain. The verso contains writing: "Number 188"; Phillips MS 36289"; "20. Ed. 1 1292... Petronella daur of Rich le Bor/nde to Rob Leget/t and his heirs of all her estate in the Manor of Little (Ha..f??) Co Salop."

Theology. Theological text (?). Gothic hand. Brown ink. Manuscript is badly faded. One column and a partial second column survive.

Breviary for the Feast of Saint Stephen. Gothic littera bastard in black ink. Some phrases and words are written in red ink. 2-line initials appear in red and blue ink. The center two pages contain notations written in a second hand in Latin with some Greek words. Notations run perpendicular to the primary text. A sloppily drawn line below the principal text separates the bottom of the text from the perpendicular notes. The outer pages have line decoration in red ink in the left hand margins. Writing on both sides of both pages. Brown ink ruling.

Text begins with a 4-line initial "D" in yellowish-gold ink within a square of red and black ink. The rest of the text is in black ink. Metal point ruling. Illustration depicts lords and ladies in a garden enclosed by a wall. Seven figures are in the foreground. In the background, a man holds a lady's hand as he pulls an arrow from a tree. A lady wearing a crown looks on. Two male figures stand to the left of the tree. Illustration in green, purple, red, golden, and brown ink. A decorative, multicolored (orange, pink, green, blue, yellow) floral image surrounds the illustration. Its background is red. (Verso) Legal document. Will (?). Cursive. Light brown ink. Document is trimmed on the right. Left and bottom margins are bounded by a brown ink line.
