Bottom of the last page is missing an 8.5 x 5.0 cm portion of parchment.

Description:
Legal document. Property indenture between Thomas Seamor of Gosport and Evan Evans of Loudon. Cursive. Dark brown ink. On the recto, a 19-line long cadel capital "T" begins the document. Remainder of "This Indenture" is written in 2-line long bold letters. Throughout the document, words such as "under, to have, by which, and whereas" appear in bold. Wide left margin. Bottom of the document is folded up and sealed with a red wax pendent seal. The folded up portion contains the signature of Thomas Seamor. Verso of the document says, Sealed and delivered in the presence of and contains the signatures of John Young, Jonathon Welch, and Jesem(?) Gotmor(?). Verso also contains some modern writing. Metal point ruling. Prickings on left and right edges. Top edge of the parchment is wavy.

Land grant from John Howalls(?) to John Durrs(?). Gothic bastard hand. Dark brown ink. On the recto, two square holes are near the top left corner. Just below, there is some writing ("Sig."?). The bottom of the page is folded up, and the parchment parts of a pendent seal remain. Half of a red wax seal is attached to them. The verso contains writing: "223"; "Jo: Howalls grant (with 10.9.3 above the word grant) to Jo. Durrs of land in Ouston."

Description:
Legal document. Indenture among John Pricktor, Henry Livett, and John Matthews Beane for the conveyance of four houses in Princes Street. On the recto, This Indenture, printed in large black ink letters, begins the document. Within the capital "T" is a seal in black ink which is topped by a crown and contains the words "Honi soit qui mal y pense." Also in the hook of the "T" is printed "22 Cross Street Bermondsey, and below the T" is printed "Warrington, sc. 27 Strand." Manuscript components in cursive in dark brown or black ink. Phrases such as "To hold" and "All those" appear in bold. Text of the document is bounded by sets of single or double red lines. The left margin of the document contains tax stamps: one for 2 pounds and another for 1 pound and 15 shillings. Below the tax stamps is a small circular stamp in black ink that reads "Bristol/ 6-2-47." The bottom of the document is folded up and sealed with three red wax seals on top of three pieces of green ribbon. The signatures of John Pricktor, John Matthews Beane, and Henry Livett appear near the seals. The red wax seal on the left may contain a cursive "L." Verso contains the signatures of witnesses to the document and a summary of the document. Metal point ruling. Top edge is wavy.

Description:
Louis XV grants the office of Commissaire-priseur (auctioneer) to Charles Violette of Veaugeroux (Vergeroux) for Châtelet of Paris, its goods, and its suburbs. Signed by Louis XV. Cursive hand. Brown ink. The first line of the document is written in letters twice the size of those in the rest of the document. Some of the lines are underlined in red ink. Below the last line of the text is, perhaps, the signature of Louis XV ("Louis" underlined), and just below that is "CharleRoy" in large cursive letters. Another (undecipherable) line appears below this. On both sides of the signature, a (mirrored) discoloration appears, which may be the remains of a seal. Top left of the document contains a modern summary of the contents of the document. Below this summary, in the left margin, are two more pieces of writing in different hands. The verso contains the word "Leejal...(?)". Metal point or blind ruling.
