If we discover that there remains any further work for us in this portion of the Master’s vineyard, let us make haste to carry it forward till every vinelet has received its proper culture, and is made to bring forth ripe clusters at the harvest, which shall redound to the praise of the great Husbandman. These thirsty travellers on the highway of life are calling for the pure fountain of knowledge, erying for but a single drop to quench the burning of that desire to know more which consumes their lives.. Let us not turn a deaf ear to these wants, but from the abundance with which we have been blessed spare something to further the cause in which we have been so signally successful —the elevation and education of the Freedmen.
