Near the back is material relating to May Day 1910, including numerous photographs and a hand drawn map of campus. Not numerous but notable are a dance card, a list of toasts, and a page with good quality action shots of a basketball match.

Ellen D. Ellis was the founder and first chairperson of the political science department at Mount Holyoke College. She was also involved with the American Women's College in Istanbul (now part of the University of the Bosporus), the League of Nations, the League of Women Voters, and various professional organizations.
